At a DAV Coffee on July 2nd, Jim Davenport presented a thank-you plaque to Frank Senn. Minot DAV Chapter 4 supported a very successful Vietnam Veterans Celebration on March 29, 2025, at the Minot Municipal Auditorium. It marked the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. The theme was: "The Parade that Never Happened." It featured guest speaker, Michael Miller, Vice Admiral USN Ret., a native of Minot. There were well over 400 attendees. Jim pointed out that the plaque was meant to show the Vietnam Veterans Committee's appreciation to the members of DAV Chapter 4 for the monetary and volunteer support that helped make it a success. Other organizations supporting the Celebration were: Minot VFW Post 753, Dakota Agronomy Partners of Minot, Kenmare ND Veterans Club, Ryan Automotive Group of Minot.

DAV Chapter 4 Coffee Event
On April 16, the Chapter 4 Coffee event brought together numerous veterans and supporters in anticipation of their upcoming Honor Flight. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie, pride, and excitement as attendees shared stories, laughter, and heartfelt moments. The event served as a platform to honor these courageous individuals and extend best wishes for their forthcoming journey.
The Honor Flight program is a profound initiative that provides veterans with an opportunity to visit and tour our nation's military monuments in Washington, DC. It is a gesture of gratitude and respect for their service, allowing them to witness firsthand the recognition and commemoration of their sacrifices.
The veterans departing from Minot will embark on a journey that encompasses visits to historically significant landmarks, memorials, and monuments dedicated to honoring the bravery and heroism of those who have served in the armed forces. These sites include the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Arlington National Cemetery, among others.
