Yesterday The Salvation Army of Minot hosted its first Anti-Human Trafficking Prayer Breakfast and Walk! It was an amazing day of education, prayer, and walk to bring awareness to our community about Human Trafficking and how we all can have a role in speaking up for our siblings in Christ who are trapped by human trafficking.

Thank you to all of our wonderful partners who helped make this day possible!

There is this Fransiscan Prayer that was shared which highlights a call to action:

"MAY GOD BLESS YOU with discomfort,
at easy answers, half-truths,
and superficial relationships
so that you may live
deep within your heart.

May God bless you with anger
at injustice, oppression,
and exploitation of people,
so that you may work for
justice, freedom and peace.

May God bless you with tears,
to shed for those who suffer pain,
rejection, hunger, and war,
so that you may reach out your hand
to comfort them and
to turn their pain to joy.

And may God bless you
with enough foolishness
to believe that you can
make a difference in the world,

📢‼️Upcoming Change in Leadership:

Lts. Trevor and Julie Reed will be transferred to The Bloomington/Brown County, Indiana Salvation Army at the end of June.

Join us in welcoming Lt. Alisa Carson, who will be taking over leadership of The Salvation Army of Minot in July!

Please keep the Minot Salvation Army in your prayers durring this transition. We are excited to see God work in this new season.

God is good!

Join us as we congratulate our two new soldiers (church members), Glen & Chantel as they have taken this step of publicly declaring their faith and making The Salvation Army their church home!

In addition to their soldiership they have both been commissioned with local officer positions of Corps Sergeant Major (Glen) and Young Persons Sergeant Major (Chantel). These positions make them local lay leaders who help the corps officers in serving and discipleship of the corps.

When you round up your order to help others, Rocky's will match it penny for penny! Thank you, Minot! Because of your generosity, we raised $9,537 last quarter for The Salvation Army Food Pantry!
