🚨Opening day is near!! Opening day is near!!

⛳️🏌🏼🏌🏽‍♀️ We are excited to announce that The Bunker will open for public use on Monday, October 12th at 3pm! We still have a few tweaks to our 3 NEW simulator bays, so only 3 bays are available this week, but you can book online now at thebunkerminot.com and come see the newly expanded facility!

A reminder that Wee Links is CLOSED for the season. 🚧 The clubhouse area is currently under construction as we prepare for some exciting course updates that we’ll be able to enjoy next spring!

The walking path surrounding Wee Links remains open, but please stay off the course and out of the construction area.

💚⛳️ 25 years of Jack Hoeven Wee Links!

Last Saturday, we celebrated 25 years of this little 9-hole course that has become such a precious gem in our community. We’re incredibly proud of all Wee Links has given to the golf community, and even more proud of the role it has played in helping generations of young golfers discover the game.

❤️ A heartfelt thank you to the families of Rudy Zupetz, Wes Plummer, Steve Kottsick and Jack Hoeven for joining us to honor the men who got the ball rolling on this dream so many years ago. What began as a dream became a reality, and that reality has grown into a fixture in our community and a cornerstone of Minot Junior Golf Association programming.

The celebration was full of special moments, including a very special birthday! 🎂 Mary Zupetz turned 95 years young, and she’s still golfing on the regular. What a legend! 💚⛳️ We’re so glad we could celebrate Mary and this incredible milestone with her.

🚌 We honored Herman Meier, too, who has been driving the bus for Minot Junior Golf events for more than 25 years! Herman has been part of so many MJGA adventures over the years, and we’re incredibly grateful for his years of service and dedication to our kids.

💚 And our hearts were certainly with MJGA Board member and dear friend, Todd Cresap, who passed away just last week. Todd was a part of the MJGA family from the beginning, and his wisdom, humor and friendship will be deeply missed. We were grateful to have him in our thoughts as we celebrated the people and memories that have shaped MJGA over the years.
We’re grateful to everyone who helped make Saturday’s celebration so special.

🎤 Thank you to Chuck Kranz for serving as our emcee, Drew Hanson for singing the National Anthem, Mayor Mark Jantzer and Elly Deslauriers from Minot Parks for sharing a few words, and to the wonderful crowd of friends and supporters who have helped Wee Links and MJGA along the way.

✨⛳️Twenty-five years later, the dream is still growing. 💚 Here’s to 25 years of Wee Links, and to many more years of kids, families, friendships and golf!

💔💔 Although we've had some fun announcements lately, The MJGA community is feeling a little heartbroken this week as we say goodbye to our dear friend and golf partner, Todd Cresap.

“Judge” has been part of the MJGA family and board since the very beginning, and his wisdom, humor, and love of the game have left a lasting mark on our organization and our community. He will be so very missed.

Todd, thank you for all the memories. Our community has lost a great one, and we are all better off for having known you.

We know it’s all birdies up in heaven. 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

🚧 WEE LINKS IS GETTING AN UPDATE! 🚧

The Wee Links season is almost over, and we’ve got a project up our sleeves this fall! 👀 Starting next week, you’ll notice a whole lot of activity around the clubhouse as we kick off some exciting improvements.

Here’s what’s happening:
🌤️ A new shelter will be added northwest of the clubhouse, providing some much-needed shade and shelter from the elements. (We’re looking at you, rain! 🌧️)
♿ Sidewalks will be adjusted for better accessibility.
👀 Signage will be updated for better visibility and navigation.

📣 Reminder: The last day of play at Wee Links is Sunday, September 20th. ⛳️🏌If you’ve got one more round in you, now’s the time!

We’re so excited about these updates and can’t wait for everyone to enjoy them when Wee Links reopens next spring!
