The Airmen's Council is made up of three major parts, each working together cohesively to make the most of the opportunities for change available to on-base airmen.
[Execu
tive Council]
These eight officers of the council work together to run meetings, organize events, and speak directly to base leadership. Each squadron on base provides representatives. These representatives have certain requirements with regards to meeting attendance and are there to represent their respective squadron by voicing opinions and desires and notifying their unit's airmen of any topics of interest or upcoming MEAC events.
[YOU]
Every airman on base also has the opportunity to become an active part of the Airman's Council, whether it's through passing information to their representatives or by attending meetings themselves. The majority of airmen are not representatives or officers of the council; we, as officers, look to you when deciding if we should do a camping trip in September, a party bus in December, or work towards gaining more storage space for airmen and a new paint ball range. Every on-base airman is essential to the desires and goals that drive the Airmen's Council.
