It is with great sadness that we share that the beloved Con Cloete passed away last night. Con was the patriarch to the Botshabelo Village that BGC Serves in South Africa. 🌍 🇿🇦 He was an incredible man and we mourn his loss but also celebrate all the the love, wisdom, protection, ideas, commom sense and political talk he brought to the world! Rest In Peace Con- we love you! ❤️‍🩹

BGC has the most amazing people who stand not only behind us but ALONG SIDE OF US! 💚🌍💙 We have a goal of needing $30,000 for COVID-19 relief funds and in just 2 months this picture is where we are at!! SOOOO CLOSE... soooo AMAZING! There is still time for you to get involved! There is no amount to small... this total so far is made up of many many people donating $10 or $20... and then some donating $5000... we just ask that you do YOUR PART whatever that is!!! 💙 🌍 💚

THIS- THIS BGC friends- THIS!! 💔🌍 This is the current reality in South Africa 🇿🇦 THIS IS WHY WE ARE ASKING YOU TO GET INVOLVED AND DO YOUR PART. THIS IS WHY I have no problem begging you to donate. THIS is why my heart has had all its heart strings being pulled for weeks for South Africa but I will say this just now my heart BROKE in two and had me balling.💔 I know what it looks like in South Africa because I have been there in person, on foot and know with my own eyes 👀 but maybe this will help YOU see into the reality a little more clear. I know things are tough here in the USA currently with COVID19 and I know there are some of our dear loved ones without work but I don’t think any of us will be waiting in a 2 mile line at the CHANCE to get a little food for our families. 💔🇿🇦🌍

💥💙🌍 There is something so thrilling about hanging up the phone with a MILLIONAIRE- who is SUPER KIND HEARTED, GENEROUS and wants to help others! He is jumping on board with giving to BGC... he is doing his part...but friends👂🏼HEAR👂🏼ME PLEASE... It is just as thrilling to talk to a dear friend who wants to give $10, $20, $30 and $1000 bucks to BGC!

This is what I mean when I say- IT TAKES ALL OF US DOING OUR PART! Your $10 and someone elses $1000 and someome elses $10,000 adds up quickly!! We have thousands coming in from last week! WE ARE DOING THIS!!! 💥💙🌍

Hello to our friends, family, and community! We would like to start this message by fully acknowledging the difficult times that all of us are facing right now. For all of us, there have been many adjustments made in recent weeks. And many ways in which our patience and our strength have been and are being tested.

As citizens of the planet, we at BGC are also continuing to monitor and do what we are able to do to support our vulnerable Communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Currently in South Africa🇿🇦 and LeSotho 🇱🇸 citizens are facing the same challenges as we are in terms of shut down but compiled with previous issues of unemployment, lack of resources, and major inequalities that leave the impoverished people even more vulnerable. Where many of us are continuing to work from home and earn our salaries, most in our target region are not. There is no business to be had for our friends who work with their hands making and growing their goods to sell at street side markets. This means there is no electricity in their homes right now (if they had it to begin with), there is very little food on the table, and the needed medications and other essential items are completely inaccessible right now.

We are very much hopeful that each of you are still able to make the ends meet and keep the basic needs met. And we are asking that you would consider sharing something from your table.

Can you donate even $10? Many of us pulling together and giving just a small amount very quickly becomes a significant amount to make a huge difference in the lives of those we are serving in sub Saharan Africa. 🌍
