Aquatic Plant Management LLC is seeking to fill the position of AIS Removal Support Staff.

The AIS Removal Support Staff member will be responsible for supporting the Mechanical Harvesting operations of Aquatic Plant Management LLC. Duties include operating the conveyor trailer and transporting aquatic plant biomass to local disposal sites.
Position is based out of Minocqua and does not require travel. This role is a seasonal, summer job with flexible hours.

Aquatic Plant Management LLC is looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team of AIS removal specialists at our South Central WI location.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform any and all tasks relating to removing invasive aquatic vegetation from lakes for both lake associations and residential property owners

General Accountabilities:
- Positively identify the target plant species under a variety of conditions.
- Execute DASH (Diver-Assisted Suction Harvesting)/hand-harvesting protocols upon arrival at project location.
- Remove invasive or native aquatic vegetation as directed by the Dive Leader.
- Assist in disposal of removed aquatic vegetation.
- Disinfect Dive Boat upon project completion.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: None
SCUBA certification NOT required to apply
