MAM Choirs The Music Association of Minnetonka provides musical opportunities to the Twin Cities.

Founded in 1974 by Dr. Roger Satrang Hoel, the Music Association of Minnetonka (MAM) is a proud participant in the community life of Minnetonka with three instrumental ensembles and seven choirs. These musical ensembles are made up of over 300 musicians representing all facets of our community. There are virtuosos and just plain music lovers; there are senior citizens and school children. Adults a

nd children from all over the metro area participate in our ensembles. In all, 37 Twin Cities communities are represented in the various performing ensembles. Under Dr. Hoel’s direction the Music Association of Minnetonka is thought to be the largest community music association in the country. We invite you to celebrate music by joining one of our ensembles or attending a performance this concert season.
