Southdale Celebration of Care on Sept. 22 was an amazing evening of celebrating and giving. Thank you to everyone who attended and donated!

Did you miss the event? We are pleased to share Amanda’s story which premiered during the program. Amanda was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in September 2021. Thanks to the physicians, nurses and staff at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital, Amanda is now in full remission and shows no sign of active cancer.

We are delighted to share the Hellier family’s story which premiered at Southdale Celebration of Care on Sept. 22. featuring Josi, Luke and their children.

Twins Sandy and Tripp were born prematurely at The Birthplace at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. This touching video shares the twins’ birth story and how the entire family was supported during Sandy and Tripp’s two months in the NICU.

Tonight’s the night! We are excited to host the 2023 Southdale Celebration of Care at the Hilton Bloomington. Emcee Jennifer Mayerle from WCCO Saturday Morning is ready to host an exciting and fun evening to support exceptional patient care at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital.

The Southdale Celebration of Care event on Sept. 22 is quickly approaching! Michael Ebbert, MD, and the other members of the Physicians Event Committee are working hard to help ensure a successful evening.

A proven leader with more than 20 years in the hospital and healthcare industry, Dr. Ebbert says, “As an anesthesiologist and vice president of Medical Affairs, I feel very lucky to work alongside such a talented and engaged medical staff. Southdale Celebration of Care is coming up on Friday, Sept. 22, at the Hilton Bloomington. This event raises important funds in support of M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. We are excited to share news of some of the hospital’s most recent recognitions.

Earlier this month, U.S. News & World Report recognized Southdale Hospital as one of three M Health Fairview hospitals that are among the top 10 hospitals in Minnesota.

Southdale Hospital was also included on the American Heart Association's list of the top 22 Minnesota hospitals recognized for improving outcomes for people who experience heart disease or stroke.

We had so much fun meeting the twins and their family while recording a video that will premiere at the Southdale Celebration of Care on Friday, Sept. 22. You don’t want to miss learning about the twins’ birth story and hearing from The Birthplace staff about how the entire family was supported during the twins’ two months in the NICU. It is a touching story filled with ups and downs, laughs, tears, and grateful hearts.
