🎒📚 What an amazing way to kick off the new school year! 📚🎒

The Mascotte Back 2 School Backpack Drive was a HUGE success! It was wonderful to see our community come together to make sure local students were ready to head back to school with the supplies they need.

The Mascotte Police Department hosted its 5th Annual Back 2 School Bash, and an incredible 900 backpacks filled with school supplies were prepared for students! What an amazing show of generosity and community spirit! 🎒✏️📓 (Instagram)

The Kiwanis Club of South Lake was so happy to support the students and families in the Mascotte area. Supporting children is at the heart of what Kiwanis is all about, and we love being able to give back to the communities we serve. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to the Mascotte Police Department, all of the volunteers, donors, community partners, and everyone who helped make this event possible. When our community comes together for our kids, incredible things happen!

🎒 Project Kid Connect was a huge success! 🎒

The Kiwanis Club of South Lake was proud to volunteer at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office South Lake District Office in Clermont for this wonderful annual back-to-school event!

Families from throughout our community came together as local students received backpacks filled with essential school supplies, helping them begin the upcoming school year feeling prepared, confident, and excited to learn. This incredible initiative was organized to help more than 1,000 Lake County children!

It was such a blessing to serve alongside the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, community partners, and so many dedicated volunteers who worked together to make the day special for our local children.

Thank you to everyone who donated, organized, volunteered, and helped make Project Kid Connect such an amazing success. This is what community is all about!

The Kiwanis Club of South Lake Foundation was proud to present a $250 donation to New Vision for Independence! 💙💛

New Vision for Independence does incredible work helping individuals gain confidence, develop valuable skills, and live more independently. We are grateful for the opportunity to support this wonderful organization and the meaningful difference they make in our community every day.

Together, we can continue changing lives—one child, one family, and one community at a time!

🎒📚 Back 2 School Bash! 📚🎒

The Kiwanis Club of South Lake is proud to support the Mascotte Police Department’s 5th Annual Back 2 School Bash by donating $200 toward school supplies for local students!

Join us on Saturday, August 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mascotte Charter School, located at 460 Midway Avenue, for a free family event and backpack giveaway. Backpacks will be available while supplies last, and parents must be present with their children.

We are grateful for the opportunity to help students begin the new school year feeling prepared, confident, and excited to learn! 💙💛

The Kiwanis Club Foundation was excited to present New Beginnings of Central Florida with a $750 check to help support a new playground on their property!

We know the children will enjoy using this playground for years to come, creating memories, laughter, and a safe place to play.

New Beginnings of Central Florida is a faith-based nonprofit organization that helps individuals and families overcome homelessness, poverty, and crisis. Through housing support, food assistance, job training, life skills education, counseling referrals, and community resources, they help people rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and purpose.

Their mission to empower people and families in Central Florida aligns beautifully with Kiwanis’ heart for serving children and strengthening our community.
