Cornerstone offers a constantly changing inventory of upscale, unusual items for a very low price. We're housed in the lower level of Park Avenue United Methodist Church in South Minneapolis, at the corner of 34th St. & Park Avenue. Ring the Cornerstone Thrift Store buzzer by the door off the parking lot. You will be buzzed in (or asked to wait briefly if capacity is at its limit). Items are price

d from $1 to $5.00, but we highly encourage you to "round up" based on the value and amount of delight you receive! Our proceeds go back into the work of the ministry in the community. We are currently overwhelmed with donations and ask that you look elsewhere to donate your items for the time being. Exceptions being men's, larger womens sizes, and children. Contact [email protected] to arrange for donation dropoffs. If you are in need of connections to additional services, we may be able to support you in finding appropriate resources - please ask!

Thursday, January 15 | 5:00–7:00 PM

In the midst of so much uncertainty, pain, violence, and horror in our community, we invite you to come as you are to a gentle evening of care, connection, and healing. Members of our church congregation and our Park Avenue neighborhood community are warmly welcome. This is a gift and there is no cost to you.

    •    Trauma-informed therapists from Becoming Together: Therapy & Wellness will be available throughout the evening for group processing.    

    •    Children are welcome. We will offer a supportive group for children to process together, or alongside their parents.

    •    Healing yoga at 5:30 PM for anyone who would like to move and breathe together.

    •    Our sanctuary will be open for shared prayer, with a quiet private space also available for meditative prayer and reflection.

Please enter the church through the back parking lot doors. They will be locked, but there will be people to greet you and welcome you inside. 

No sign-ups are needed. All are welcome. Come for the whole evening or just a part — we are here to hold space with you.
