Mission Statement
Be a Boarder’s mission is to provide access to skateboarding for all by providing equipment, education, and opportunities for community involvement. Who We Are
Based in the Twin Cities of MN, we are an all volunteer, not for profit (official status coming soon) partnership of skaters and skate lovers. We believe that skateboarding has the ability to empower and transform participants through healthy activity, confidence building, creativity, and engagement. To this end, we collect and distribute used skateboards, components, and safety gear.

Stoke level is THROUGH THE ROOF over here!! Yesterday afternoon I went into Ridgedale Vans to make a video to talk about what we would do with this money if we received this grant from the vfc_foundation - What I walked into was not that… So grateful for Dave Cervantes for his generous volunteer work in making this all happen!!! He surprised me with this custom deck that said we have been chosen for this grant. I was speechless. My heart raced as I thought about.. How we can serve and create more of an impact for underserved youth here in the Twin Cities! It gets me REV’d UP and we are ready to get to work! We celebrated with the crew last night at Folwell and it was one of the most beautiful sessions, filled with Thrashers, Groms and friends! Thank You once again to Dave at Vans, VF Foundation and all of the skaters in the Twin Cities! Now let’s RAM IT DOWN and make a difference!
