Thank you Senator Amy Klobuchar for standing up for the most vulnerable and for refusing to let these children be forgotten. The abduction of Ukrainian children is a deep moral wound, and your leadership gives families hope that justice, accountability, and reunification are possible. On behalf of UNWLA Branch 148, I extend my heartfelt gratitude and deep pride to our incredible members Yuliya Lavriv, Katia Tkachuk and Esther Alder, for their generous donation of food and essential goods to the Vadnais Heights Food Shelf in Minnesota.

Your actions truly embody the Ukrainian spirit — a spirit of generosity, resilience, and compassion. Helping those in need and caring for our neighbors has always been at the core of who we are, and you have demonstrated this value beautifully through your selfless giving.

As Branch President, I am immensely proud of our members. Your willingness to step up, support our local community, and share what you have with others reflects not only our cultural values but also the strength and unity of our organization.

Today, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Senator Amy Klobuchar for her powerful leadership and heartfelt commitment to bringing Ukraine’s stolen children home. 💙💛

Her recent testimony in Washington was not only compassionate and deeply informed — it was a reminder that the world is paying attention, and that Minnesota continues to stand firmly on the side of justice and humanity.

We are also incredibly grateful that Senator Klobuchar joined us at the Ukrainian American Community Center in July. Her presence brought comfort, hope, and strength to so many families carrying unimaginable burdens. She has shown, time and again, that this issue is not just political — it is profoundly personal.

The fight to return abducted Ukrainian children is critically important, and knowing that we have a leader who refuses to look away means more to our community than words can express.

Thank you, Senator, for using your voice, your influence, and your heart to stand with Ukraine. We see it. We feel it. And we are deeply, sincerely grateful.
