Derreck touched so many lives. His love for his childhood community of Minneapolis will always be remembered, and the Green Machine student-athletes lost a true mentor and friend. His legacy lives on in the community, in every student-athlete he inspired, and in the hearts of those who knew him best.

Thank you for showing him the same love he poured into everyone around him. ❤️
