In Episode 6 of Let’s Talk Sophie’s Squad, we sat down with Sophie’s sister, Rachel Wieland, and talked about how what started as a small group of players, coaches, and parents has evolved into what Sophie’s Squad is today.

It’s a reminder that change doesn’t happen on its own. It starts when people step up, take action, and believe they can make a difference.

Every conversation. Every event. Every person who gets involved. It all adds up.

Episode # 6 of Let’s Talk is here—and this one is extra special. 💜🩵🎙️

The number 6 was Sophie’s hockey number, so we couldn’t think of a more meaningful guest for Episode # 6 than Sophie’s sister, Rachel Wieland.

Rachel played college hockey and now coaches at the College of Saint Benedict. In this special episode, she shares her experiences as an athlete and coach, reflects on Sophie and her legacy, and talks about mental health, supporting one another, and continuing the conversations at the heart of Sophie’s Squad.
