Hennepin County is evicting the Greenway between 5th Ave and Hiawatha right now after throwing away belongings and trying to force everyone to self-evict for the past few days. County eviction crews started near 5th Ave and are moving East. Support is needed documenting the eviction and supporting residents.
[UPDATE: the County succeeded at evicting every single person from the Greenway and destroying their shelter and belongings.]

This is the work and the will of Marion Greene - Hennepin County Commissioner District 3 and Hennepin County Commissioner Jan Callison

Mayor Jacob Frey and City of Minneapolis Public Works. 1809 Washington Ave Ne are supporting the eviction.

Displacement is the primary solution that the government offers over and over and over again. There is no justification that meets any kind of ethical standard.

For the contact information for the Hennepin County Officials that ordered this and could have stopped it at any time check out this event page: https://fb.me/e/BwFnDsUm
