Rep the Sacred Heart 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨!

Our cadre of members who meet Tuesday mornings (https://www.sjbusinessguild.org/builders) was enriched today with keen insights from Fr. David Hottinger, PES pastor of the Church of Saint Mark and member of the religious order, Pro Ecclesia Sancta.

Not the least, the builders — and the greater guild does well to treasure these ideas — should observe that those who are devoted to Christ's Sacred Heart will have their undertakings blessed, and our Lord will bless a place where an image of his heart is enthroned.

That's not just for the home!

What a witness if Guild members were known for, especially in June, giving an image of the Sacred Heart pride of place at work and at home!

In this June, lean into a spirituality of the Sacred Heart and enthrone Christ's Sacred Heart in your labors!

As of right now, there's no content you *must* watch to be a Guild member.

But we do have some must watch content from, Chuck Marohn of Strong Towns, from last month's St. Joseph's Fair.

He gave one of the most amazin' presentations in Guild history that really puts into focus the practical import of what we're all about, and the real difference that Catholic social teaching, lived out, makes.

The video is worthy of a watch, re-watch, in-depth study, and being crushed into a powder and taken as a regular supplement.

"𝑊ℎ𝑖𝑐ℎ 𝑤𝑎𝑦, 𝐺𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝑚𝑎𝑛 (𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑛)?"

As it turns out, big business and big government are a lot alike. Especially big government. Against the unholy power of monopoly, Dale Ahlquist returned to a Guild event at St. Joseph's Fair last month to propound "Localism" as a "tertia via." If money is power, then where we send our money is powerful: how can we make our work, and the fruits of our work, work for us?!

June is a great time to check out one of the Guild's rarefied networking options: 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀!

Started 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 June, members meet weekly (et al) to pray, swap referrals, and otherwise lend each other their expertise to bring the treasury of our faith, varied professional acumen, and guild fraternity to each others' labors. All with the mindset of supporting the church!
