Yesterday we had the privilege of sharing our story and raising awareness about FTD and The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration by joining "The Woo Hoo Hour" with the Preacher Lady yesterday from 3-4pm Sept 10th on WFNU 94.1 FM Frogtown Community Radio.

It was a meaningful conversation about Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD), the importance of brain health, and the courage it takes to seek support as a caregiver. 💜

We’re honored to stand with the MN FTD community and use opportunities like this to shine a light on this disease.

We tried something new.
We shared our story.
We shed a few tears.
We smiled too… because there is hope for a future to .

Our longtime friend and respected Coldwell Banker colleague, Nanci Anderson with Coldwell Banker Realty, was personally touched by Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD). After losing her incredible husband, Gary, in 2019, Nanci and her two daughters have continued his fight against FTD.

Through their non-profit, Gary’s FUB Team , Nanci's family strives to provide education and awareness about FTD, support caregivers and individuals living with the disease, and fundraise to support the National Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (theaftd.org).

World FTD Awareness week is coming up (Sept 21-27) and yesterday we took a trip to the MN Capitol!!

We are proud to share that the Governor’s office approved the proclamation to officially recognize FTD Awareness Week in Minnesota!

This is an exciting and impactful step forward in our awareness and advocacy work for the The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration!

Our inspiring annual event to raise awareness & funds to empower the sons, daughters, children and their families of younger-onset dementia. It will be an evening together to 'shift the narrative' around dementia ... because it's time!

Adriana, a 14 year old daughter of dementia, will serve as our Emcee for the evening - with hors d’oeuvres, beverages, the screening of our short film and dessert ... you will leave informed and inspired!
