We really can’t thank you all enough. In the past 2 months, you helped us raise $18,385, including a $5,000 match from an anonymous donor.

Here is the breakdown:
$4,115 was raised from the time in the 6 weeks leading up to the fundraiser
$9,270 was raised during the fundraiser
$5,000 was raised as a matching donation

After 3 very challenging years, it was so good to see so many of you in person again. It was truly a wonderful night to reconnect and continue to build inspiration for our mission. For those of you who were unable to come, we have included some photos; we had 70 attendees!

Your Donations Have Given Us a Great Start. Please Help Us to Continue This Great Work!

As we give thanks this week, Construction Volunteers thinks of its wonderful donors! On September 17, we asked you for help, and you generously responded with $3,100 in donations. Thank you so much. We and the people of La Colonia are so grateful for your support!

To inspire you, take a look at what the communities of La Colonia have been able to complete so far this year: They constructed a storm sewer to help prevent erosion by diverting rainwater away from the schoolhouse. We built and paved 2 vital roads to help prevent them from being washed out and to provide continuous access for emergency vehicles, public transportation, and taxis.
