Bryn Mawr Gardens BRYN MAWR GARDEN TOUR: The Bryn Mawr Garden Tour showcases private gardens owned and nurtured by passionate neighborhood gardeners.

The Bryn Mawr Gardens Committee orchestrates ongoing greening efforts in the neighborhood, including maintenance of the Bryn Mawr Hedge and our many public gardens, battling invasives, and providing educational workshops. ABOUT BRYN MAWR: Bryn Mawr is one of the Twin Cities most vital neighborhoods numbering roughly 1,200 households and located on the edge of downtown Minneapolis. Known locally a

s “a neighborhood within a park”, Bryn Mawr incorporates Bryn Mawr Meadows Park, portions of Bassett's Creek Valley Park, and borders on Theodore Wirth Park, site of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden. We expect to re-introduce the Garden Tour in 2025 as we build a new foundation of volunteers. Don't HEDGE, our window of opportunity for a quick clean-up on our Bryn Mawr Hedge is now! Come for an hour, bring your friends, and take on a letter! Stop by anytime over the weekend, 4/12 - 4/14, all skills welcome.

WHAT WE NEED:
Step 1: Pick up the shrub trimmings from within the shrubs and off the surface of the mulch. Use a bucket as you go and dump into a bag.
Step 2: Remove w**ds! This includes all day lilies emerging!
Step 3: Pick up any trash
Step 4: Gently rake the surface of the mulch, turning over the top one inch of mulch pulling it toward the top of the hill, to the metal edging.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Tight fitting shoes so your foot doesn't roll in your shoe on the hillside. Gloves, a garden rake, small hand shovel or w**d digger. Leave any bags of trash and leaf bags at the hillside closer to Mt. View and we will pick everything up.
