Hey everyone! We are PHASA, an inter-professional student group dedicated to topics around public health. PHASA allows healthcare professional students to meet together to advocate for healthcare policies. We educate our student body about public health/healthcare legislation so that we can be better and more effective healthcare leaders in the future. We also take action by advocating for policies that we support and we have even passed our own legislation! The medication repository bill passed in 2019 and will reduce medication waste by providing unused meds to people in need.

We are currently looking to fill some officer positions for the 2021-2022 academic year. If you are a health professions student, there is a place for you in PHASA! The roles we are looking to fill are the following: project manager, executive chair, finance chair, and advocacy chair. If you are interested in any of these positions, please apply below by September 15th at 11:59 pm.

We are excited to begin our work for the 2021-2022 school year and would love to have you onboard!

"Currently, CGM use in type 2 diabetes is only strongly recommended for those taking both long-acting basal insulin and short-acting pre-meal bolus insulin."
