JETAAMN is recruiting volunteers for our annual Kaki gori fundraiser at the Saint Paul Obon festival, August 16th. Lots of time slots are available- find the link in our bio to register. Volunteers receive free festival admission and a bowl of kaki gori to stay cool.

It’s that time of year again! The Saint Paul Obon festival is August 16th and JETAAMN is looking for volunteers and sponsors to help make our annual kaki gori fundraiser a success. Hello 👋, let's make a difference together at this year's Obon Festival, formerly known as the Japanese Lantern Lighting Festival, at Como Park in Saint Paul!

We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us in serving delicious kaki-gori (shaved ice) and help make this event a huge success. As our biggest fundraising event, it enables us to support current Minnesota JETs and organize events for alumni.

In recent years, we've faced challenges in securing enough volunteers, leaving our board members exhausted. Your contribution,even for a couple hours, would greatly alleviate their burden. We are especially needed more volunteers for our afternoon and evening shifts.

We welcome volunteers of all ages, including high schoolers seeking volunteer hours! If you're available to lend a hand, please take a moment to fill out the survey below. Your support means the world to us, and we're grateful for your consideration.
