Thank you to all of our supporters and corporate partners who donated school supplies! Because of you, kids at our Back-to-School Event at our largest shelter, Possibility Place, got excited for school to start by picking out their favorite backpack and school supplies.

Infants at PSP enjoy music and entertainment provided by the MacPhail Center for Music. Partnerships like this give participants exposure to diverse and relevant music experiences.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Our Back to School Ice Cream Social event was a success! We would like to thank our amazing partners at Bond&Devick Wealth Partners for sponsoring this event for kids at our shelter and their volunteers for lending us their time and talents. The kids enjoyed a variety of activities and ice cream under the sun.

Our 2025 Impact Report is published, highlighting another year of critical services for families in our community.

More than 1,500 parents, caregivers, and children were served by People Serving People in 2025—through shelter, wrap-around services, 4-Star Parent Aware Rated early childhood education programs, and homelessness prevention support. This good work would not be possible without our volunteers, donors, and community partners!

Together, we will continue to work toward a future where every family has what they need.

We are grateful! This past weekend, PSP staff and their loved ones participated in an all-staff picnic to take a moment to breathe, connect as a team, and reflect on the importance of our work in the community. We're in this together!

Shout out to Best Buy, whose staff stopped by People Serving People yesterday and donated school supplies for our Back-to-School event later in August. They provided backpacks, notebooks, pencil kits, and more. Partnerships like this allow us to provide kids with the tools they need to succeed when school starts up again in September!
