I’m currently preparing Mother’s Day care bags for unhoused women. I’m reaching out to see if anyone has any of the following items LAYING AROUND IN THEIR BATHROOMS, CLOSETS, DRAWERS, DRESSERS, ANYWHERE they’d be willing to part with and donate:

Dry shampoo
Wet wipes / bath wipes
Hand sanitizer
Tissues
Feminine wipes
Nail clippers
Mints / LifeSaver candies / gum
Tweezers
Hairbrushes / combs
Compact mirrors
Makeup (lipstick, lip gloss, etc.)
Perfume / body sprays / lotions
Makeup pouches
Hair ties / hair clips
Press-on nails
Facial cleansers
Pantyliners
Reusable tote bags or gift bags (for packaging)
Meal Ideas (would LOVE suggestions)

SAMPLES are GREAT and MORE than welcome!

Anything that can help these women feel cared for, confident, and a little extra beautiful on Mother’s Day—DESPITE their situation—would mean so much.

I’m honestly still speechless from tonight… 💓

My Kindness is Kool event (THAT I WAS WORRIED ABOUT) turned out to be something truly special. I had MORE than 10 people—including The Water Works—tell me it was the BEST event they’ve ever been a part of 🙌🏾💪🏾

We had 360 plus (Final Count) people come through!! That alone blows my mind.

To the principals at VVE, THANK YOU. To every single person who DONATED, VOLUNTEERED, SUPPORTED, or SHOWED UP—YOU ARE THE REASON THIS WAS SUCH A SUCCESS 👌🏾💕

WE did this together!! And babyyyy… we really made Kindness is Kool THE EVENT OF THE YEAR!! Y’ALL ROCKKKKK 💓✨
