The Hockey Humanitarian Award is presented to the college hockey player—man or woman, DI-DIII—that most personifies true community spirit through the selfless commitment of leadership, philanthropy, effort, and time. Since its founding in 1996, the award has sought to recognize student-athletes who do the most for their community and most personify the humanitarian spirit. Past recipients have bee

Last night, we celebrated the 31st Hockey Humanitarian Award Foundation recipient, Meg Simon of Middlebury College.

Congratulations to Meg Simon of Middlebury College on being named the 31st recipient of the Hockey Humanitarian Award, collegiate hockey's 'finest citizen'. Meg has built a reputation of showing up and investing in the people and programs she cares about. Her involvement in MiddCAM, Special Olympics, The Yellow House, and youth hockey initiatives across her community is a testament to her dedication to serving others.
