If you are into native plant gardening, check out these June events.

Native Plant Expo and Market offers gardeners one convenient location to shop for Minnesota native plants from 6 local native growers and learn how to use the plants from conservation organizations. The goal of Landscape Revival is to promote the use of native plants by educating about their benefit...

Hello Everyone,

I apologize for the lack of updates on the page. If there is anyone that would like to take over posting gardening items of interest for the Camden neighborhoods, just let me know.

Additionally, I am willing to organize an actual meeting in the spring of 2018, if there is interest. I know one of the projects we will be tackling in the spring is planting the triangle garden at 42nd and Humboldt. We have the plan and the budget, but we'll need the people to help plant.

If there are other public gardening projects you would like to promote, let me know. Hopefully, together, we can get the group working again to keep Camden beautiful, vibrant, and green!

Look for me at one of the community tables at Patrick Henry for the Holiday on 44th Celebration (Camden Running Club, Friends of Webber Park Library, or Camden Community Historical Society) if you'd like to talk specifics.

Thanks!
Eric Nystrom

From Susan Spiller of the Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association regarding the Lind Community Garden:

"Hi Gardeners!!!
With this nice weather I know I am just itching to get digging in the dirt! I am contacting you to see if you are interested in a garden plot again this year.

We have been having problems with our website so we do not have the application on it as of yet. We should soon though.
If you would like an application form - I put some at the flamingo garden sign on the corner of 51st and Dupont Ave. that you can pick up - or you can email me your address and I can either drop it off to you or put it in the mail. ([email protected])

You can either mail your completed application form and check to our PO box (on the application form) or you can drop it off to me [Susan will provide you the address if need be]. I would like all applications by April 16th or so. We will have our kick-off in May where we will firm up your plot assignments. If you gardened with us last year and want to garden again - you may have your same plot this year.

Thank you so much and let's keep this beautiful weather going!!!
Susan"

Anyone have suggestions for gardening projects for the upcoming year? Its never to early to plan!

If you would rather have someone else do your gardening for you, check out both of these options for locally grown produce. They probably won't get started for a while, but its nice to think about eating fresh vegetables straight off the plant!
