We LOVE our What's Up Wednesdays!

On the second Wednesday of each month our members gather virtually over the lunch hour to discuss relevant topics in the birthworking world. We've talked about doulas in the OR, birth processing, and this month's topic was insurance coverage! We talked about friction we've run into, shared resources on ways to access insurance reimbursement, and brainstormed things that could be helpful to make the process more accessible going forward.

We are grateful for the members that attended this week! If you'd like to hop on to these monthly calls, head over to our website to explore membership options.

Last night's Birth Topic Night: Comfort Measures for Labor class was SUCH a blast! Five couples joined us to learn all about techniques to make their birthing process more comfortable. From birth balls to hip squeezes and aromatherapy to mood lighting, so many tools were added to their birth toolkit!

We're so thankful we're able to offer this free monthly class to our community members. If you know anyone who is expecting, send them our way for our next class on Tuesday, June 9th from 6:30-8 PM at the Minnesota Birth Center in Saint Paul. Pre-registration is not required but very appreciated at the Eventbrite link in our bio.

Happy birthing!

This is what our Community Care Grant Pilot Cycle looked like, by the numbers. Thank you. We love you.

Not all struggles in pregnancy and postpartum are easy to recognize.
And not all of them should be brushed off as β€œnormal.”

As birth and postpartum professionals, knowing when something is deeper, and what to do next, matters.

Join Katherine Stanglin, LICSW and perinatal mental health therapist (and former doula), for an evening focused on:
β€’ recognizing when clients are truly struggling
β€’ understanding common stressors and symptoms
β€’ supporting neurodivergent parents with more awareness
β€’ practical tools you can actually use in your work

This is the kind of knowledge that changes how you show up for your clients and for yourself.

Check out the link in our bio to register! We hope to see you there!
