Youth Studies in Laos, University of Minnesota This course, International Youth Work, was offered through the University of Minnesota in Laos from May 21st to June 13th, 2011.

Through this study aboard, students experienced urban and rural Laos for three weeks by meeting its youth at school, work and play. The emphasis was on the everyday lives of Lao youth, including the role their families and their lives. The students participated in various developing ideas for future exchanges with Lao youth.
