Dunwoody College of Technology provides students with a rigorous, quality technical education. Located on the western edge of downtown Minneapolis, Dunwoody offers two-year Associates degrees, four-year Bachelor’s degrees and a variety of certificates in fields like: Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Mechanical and Software Engineering, Auto and Construction. Our 15-acre campus includes classrooms, studios, shops and laboratories furnished with industry-standard software, equipment and materials so students are prepared for Day One of their career. The Indigenous Design Camp was held at Dunwoody! Created by Native architects Mike Laverdure (Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa) and Sam Olbekson (White Earth Nation), the camp offered hands-on learning, community connection, and inspiration from Indigenous professionals in the field to highlight the importance of representation in shaping the future of design.

Every spring, Dunwoody’s Eco Team travels to Indianapolis to compete on the Indy 500 road course in the Shell Eco-marathon. This year, our team earned the Spirit of Shell Eco-marathon Award for helping other teams with everything from wiring and mechanical work to providing tools and technical support.

Looking ahead, our Shell Eco-marathon team has exciting plans for the next competition. We will be retiring our current vehicle and start working on a new vehicle. Stay tuned...

There's still time to register for Summer Visit Days. Join us on Tuesday, June 23, or Wednesday, June 24, to discover if Dunwoody is right for you! At Summer Visit Days, you'll have the opportunity to talk to current students and faculty members, tour your programs of interest, and see live demonstrations.

Morning sessions are from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and will be highlighting Automotive, Automation/Robotics, Computers, Engineering, and Manufacturing degrees.

Afternoon sessions are from 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and will be highlighting the School of Design, Construction Sciences & Building Technology, and Radiologic Technology degrees.

🚗 Not long ago, the Automotive Department hosted the Automotive Car Show to celebrate the end of the school year. The event featured grilling, and Automotive students were invited to bring their project cars or modified daily drivers for everyone to vote on their favorite vehicle. Throughout this program, students will build meaningful relationships with mentors, participate in hands-on activities, and receive academic support designed to help them grow both personally and professionally.
