Dunwoody College of Technology provides students with a rigorous, quality technical education. Located on the western edge of downtown Minneapolis, Dunwoody offers two-year Associates degrees, four-year Bachelor’s degrees and a variety of certificates in fields like: Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Mechanical and Software Engineering, Auto and Construction. Online Bachelor completion degrees offered in Architecture and Construction Management. Our 15-acre campus includes classrooms, studios, shops and laboratories furnished with industry-standard software, equipment and materials so students are prepared for Day One of their career. Here at Dunwoody, both theory and real-world skills are taught—a combination much sought after in today’s industry. With a student to faculty ratio of 9:1, students can expect to receive a very personalized, hands-on technical education.

Second year Engineering Drafting & Design students presented their first projects. For these projects, students worked in partners to identify an existing design flaw. They researched options to better manage their issue and then created a viable mechanism to solve the flaw they've identified.

Pic 4: An organizer box (with divider systems) for classroom tools.
Pic 5: A peg board for 3d printing materials with custom 3D printed inserts for holding different tools
Pic 6: An organizer cart for the esports room to provide space and offer cable management.
Pic 7-8: An easy filter system for cigarette butt waste
Pic 9-10: A height adjusting system for a computer monitor.

Students came up with such creative and innovative designs. They learned how to apply their technical skills with resourcefulness and project management planning.

Students in Dunwoody College of Technology's Collision Repair & Refinishing and Automotive Service Technology spent several months repairing and refinishing a donated vehicle, which was then given to a disabled veteran as part of a national Recycled Rides program through the National Auto Body Council (NABC).
