Thanks to our new friends at Gibson "Gives" (Alex & Matt), our friends in the band at Stillwater prison can now worship with brand new instruments and pedals. Generous individuals have already donated amps, a bass guitar, microphone, and various needed accessories. Pictured with Steve receiving the instruments, is Lt. Marks from the prison, an individual who truly cares for the men under his watch. Thank you to all!

Our mission field for the past 2 days was FCI Sandstone, federal prison. We led the men through our Invisible Reentry curriculum, shared worship time and spent time creating healthy new connections. These are men who understand how much God loves them and that they are not defined by the choices of their past. Feeling grateful for the Bureau of Prisons staff, Mission 29:11 and our friend Aaron Dahl!

Part of our team is spending a few days at Wheaton College worshipping and being equipped for ministry to the incarcerated. We are grateful to the Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association for hosting the many prison, jail and reentry ministries, and chaplains gathered here. Pray for safe travels, productive learning, and useful connections.

Federal Prison was never on our radar but God continues to open doors for us! We are grateful to partner with Mission 29:11 Reentry and Alpha Emergence Behavioral Health to present THE ROAD HOME retreat at the men’s federal prison at Sandstone in May.
