A show wouldn't be complete without a brilliant Emcee! MONDO ###VII is excited to announce that local artist icon Leslie Ball will be our Emcee!
Leslie Ball is an award winning performing artist and educator, perhaps best known as the founder of BALLS Cabaret - a weekly greenhouse for artists and audiences.
Now in its fourth decade, BALLS Cabaret welcomes performers of any and all disciplines, at any and all levels of experience - from young folks stepping onstage for the first time, to world-renowned stars like Jay Gilligan.
The BALLS community stands with our immigrant neighbors, and honors core values of democracy: freedom of expression, diversity, equity, inclusion, civic engagement, righteous anger AND loving kindness. Leslie has always known that the arts are foundational to building a more perfect union - not just in our nation, but throughout our precious planet.
For the record: while Leslie is a devoted fan of circus performers, she wants to acknowledge that she has absolutely NO talent in the field - and is humbly grateful for this invitation to the MONDO stage.

Another new face for the ###VII audience, it's Avi Kritzman!
Avi is a circus artist specializing in antipodism, better known as foot juggling. Some years ago, he found himself in Maine training foundational acrobatics at The Sellam Circus School under the guidance of Master Coach Sellam el Ouahabi. Avi can typically be found performing across the US in traditional circuses, variety shows, and cabarets; including Circus Grimaldi, The Venardos Circus, and Piccolo Zoppé Circus.

Ben Schave is a clown, a graduate of RBBB Clown College and UT Austin Department of Theatre & Dance, and half of Schave & Reilly. He’s been all around the world performing in circuses, cruise ships and resorts, and variety shows. When he finds the time he also likes to cartoon with pen and ink and play a little five-string banjo.

You never wanna miss what Institute of Jugglology is up to, this year there's the added bonus of Brent Fiasco! We're excited to have them at ###VII
Galen Harp is a performance art juggler based in Arkansas and working wherever gravity has an effect. His work focuses on using juggling to draw out and explore the relationships humans have with objects. He has performed as the Institute of Jugglology all over North America, including Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, El Paso Museum of Art, and the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute. He has opened for Cake, Peter Frampton, and Blues Traveler. The Institute has been awarded the Northwest Arkansas Entertainer of the Year award for nine years in a row, and in 2014 it won the world juggling championships judged by the International Jugglers’ Association.

Braving the cold north to share her dope style, we're excited to announce Kassandra LaVictoire!
Originally from Ohio and now based in Miami, Florida, Kassandra is a contemporary juggler whose journey has been shaped by both passion and pause. After stepping away from juggling for several years, they returned with a renewed love for the craft—drawn back by the humbling, meditative, and deeply rewarding nature of the practice. Their current style fuses the precision and creativity of European-inspired hoop manipulation with contemporary juggling techniques, resulting in a unique and fluid approach that fills space with intention and illusion. With a focus on movement, rhythm, and the interplay between object and body, Kassandra brings a fresh perspective to the juggling world—one rooted in rediscovery, flow, and artistic evolution.

Get your tickets and get ready to be delighted Mackenzie and Theresa, maybe better known by their Instagram handle Smitty and Sweaty, are a juggling duo based out of Chicago. Mackenzie started juggling as part of the Strong Jugglers at the University of Rochester and later met Theresa when they joined the same academic lab.
One fateful summer day, at a mandated work picnic, Mackenzie forced Theresa into playing with props. Thankfully, Theresa happily complied, having just finished her collegiate softball career and needing an excuse to continue throwing things. They developed their style together while hanging with the juggling club of Chicago and are excited to be sharing their first performance here at Mondo!
Before they come out, they would like to share a brief message for you. In their own words:
We are Smitty and Sweaty
We go together like sauce and spaghetti
We’ll give you a show that you’ll never forgetti
So get ready, get setti, and go!

Next up, we're stoked to announce Jared Athias!
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Jared started his juggle journey at the RIT juggling club in Rochester, NY. he has traveled around the world researching, teaching, and performing juggling techniques. Jared also has an extensive background in Computer animation and 3D graphics, having worked on a variety of visualization projects with companies such as Dreamworks Animation, Ingenuity Studios, Amazon, and Mainframe studios.

Next up for MONDO Variety Spectacular making their debut, Aaron Jones!
Aaron is 10 years old and has been juggling since he was 8. Aaron has a great juggling teacher, who has been known to moonlight as a Lobster. He likes how juggling keeps him active. HIs favorite prop is clubs. Currently he is working on 4 clubs. Aaron is VERY excited to perform at Mondo. After watching the show last year he was inspired specifically by Delaney’s electric club routine. “I couldn’t look away.” Aaron hopes you feel as happy watching him perform as he feels when juggling.
