📢 Calling All Community Resource Partners! 💛

Do you represent an organization that serves individuals and families experiencing homelessness?

We’d love to invite you to table at our Minnesota Showers of Dignity event! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect directly with our unhoused neighbors by sharing resources, services, and hope.

We’re looking for organizations that provide housing support, healthcare, mental health services, recovery resources, employment assistance, veteran services, legal aid, benefits enrollment, and any other valuable community resources.

📍 Elliot Park – Minneapolis

Together, we can make sure every person leaves with not only clean clothes and a hot shower, but also meaningful connections that can help change their future.

📣 CALLING ALL BARBERS & HAIRSTYLISTS! 💈✂️💛 August 8th, from 12-3

Minnesota is looking for barbers and hairstylists who would be willing to donate their time and talents at our upcoming Showers of Dignity event. 🫶🏾

We are looking for professionals willing to provide FREE haircuts and simple hairstyles to individuals in our community experiencing homelessness or hardship.

A fresh haircut. A clean style. A hot shower. Clean clothes.

These may seem like simple things, but they can help someone feel seen, refreshed, confident, and cared for. 💛

We are also STILL ACCEPTING CLOTHING DONATIONS for both women and men in ALL SIZES!

👕 T-shirts
🩳 Shorts
👖 Sweatpants & comfortable pants
🧥 Hoodies & sweatshirts
🧦 NEW socks
🩲 NEW underwear
👙 NEW or gently used bras
👟 Shoes & sneakers
🩴 Slides/flip-flops
🧢 Hats
👚 Women’s tops
👖 Women’s leggings
🧥 Lightweight jackets
➕ PLUS-SIZE CLOTHING IS GREATLY NEEDED!

We kindly ask that all gently used clothing be clean and in good condition. 💛

Today we had the chance to pack bags with an amazing group of high school students from Minnehaha Academy.

We talked about the importance of giving back and being intentional about letting people who are experiencing homelessness know that they are seen and that they matter. Sometimes something as simple as a bag filled with care can remind someone they are not forgotten.

It was a powerful experience watching these young people show up with compassion and a willingness to serve. This next generation gives me so much hope.

Shoutout to my big sister Lakeisha Mcraeweems for being apart of it all these last two month and over the years in general. Love ya boo!

Looking forward to partnering with more schools and continuing this work together. ❤️

🌻 Care Bags Available Tomorrow 🌻

Tomorrow we’ll be packing care bags with student volunteers from Minnehaha Academy, and we’d love to get them out into the community right away!

If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness or going through a difficult season, please feel free to stop by and pick up a bag.

These bags are completely free and meant to support those in need.

We also welcome organizations, outreach teams, or individuals who would like to help distribute them through their own ministries or programs.

📍 Location: Maple Grove Community Center
⏰ Time: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM

If you’re unable to come during that time but are in need, send me a message — I may be able to arrange a drop-off.

Our heart is simply to remind people that they matter. 💛
