Tonya Clark was a single mother working two part-time jobs, neither of which provided health insurance, when she found out she had breast cancer. A social worker helped Clark to enroll in Medicaid, which sustained her during treatment and gave her a second chance at life. Now, Clark is a proud USW member who passionately defends preserving Medicaid and gives back to her community however she can.

136 members participated in the 4-year District 11 Jerry Johnson Educational Institute at Lake of the Ozarks where they had trainings on labor history, arbitration, grievance handling, public speaking, Rapid Response, Health & Safety plus much more!!
