So there’s no better place to premiere the Pre-Broadway performance of Purple Rain ( ) than in his beloved hometown of Minneapolis!!

For so long, Black women have been celebrated for our strength—pushing through, caring for others, and leading with grace… often at the expense of our own rest, joy, and softness.

On Thursday, August 21, The B Suite invites you to A Seat at HER Table: In Her Fullness — an intimate dinner and fireside conversation designed to nourish both body and spirit.

💬 The Evening Includes:
✨ Fireside chat + Q&A with Marlee James of Reviving Roots
🍷 Wine-paired, family-style dinner (herb butter baked chicken, roasted potatoes, garden salad, fresh bread)
💛 Guided table conversations, storytelling, and moments of reflection
🤝 Connection with women in a space filled with warmth, openness, and affirmation
