We also opened up with a reminder from our President Claude Christian on why what we do matters...

Think Prince's"When Doves Cry"...

Dig if you will the picture
Careers and professions in bloom
The work of our people prepares them
Can you my Perkins
People picture this?

Dream if you can a conference
Where options and ideas can bloom
Businesses strike curious poses
They see the work
The work that CTE can do. (I mean…)

How could we just leave our kids there
Without the strength to be bold?
We have to prepare for the future
We must prepare them before we get too old

We must prepare them for greatness
The world we know will soon see
Why do we cheer for each other
It’s just what we do
We are NACTEi!

We are here!
What a fabulous opening session. We heard from Karl Ohrn, System Director of Career and Technical Education for Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and Minnesota's State CTE Director.

We then capped it off with a stellar presentation from Dr. Alisha Hyslop of ACTE on ACTE Federal Policy Updates.
You should be here!

🚨Next week! The AMCA is excited to attend the 45th Annual National Perkins Leadership Conference, hosted by National Association for Career and Technical Education Information (NACTEi)

This conference brings together leaders in career & technical education (CTE) to share ideas, explore policy, and strengthen systems tied to the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act.

We can’t wait to connect, collaborate, and talk about how certification supports student success and workforce readiness.

Will you be there? Let's connect!
