Our approach challenges, inspires and informs individuals, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve success in all areas of life through personal power, personal development, and leadership training. The Power of People Leadership Institute provides personal development and leadership training to mentor, empower, challenge and inspire youth and adults to overcome their obstacles and find success in every area of life. POPLI Programs:
Girls Taking Action - Motivate, mentor, empower, engage and educate girls in grades to succeed in school and life. Boys of Hope - Mentor reach boys in grades 6-12 to use their personal power to problem solve, attain self-regulation, maintain positive relationships, complete high school, enroll in college and most importantly stay out of the school to prison pipeline. Re-Planting - provide incarcerated community members with pre and post release personal development and leadership training to reduce criminal thinking and behavior, increase reintegration and stability in the community, increase access to employment, housing, system navigation, mental and chemical health services.
