The Pillsbury United Communities Parent Network will serve immediate north Minneapolis parents of youth ages 10-18 years old through the following:
Community resource bank
Healthy behavior promotion
Relationship building
Violence prevention
Parenting skill workshops
Delivery of parenting curriculum
Providing assistance in understanding a student’s IEP (individual education plan) goals. Saf

Building a parent to parent network
Parent child social activities
P.S.O.P (Parent Support Outreach Program)

Parent Support Outreach Program (include case planning to help families access basic resource and social support, with the intended goal of mitigating those issues that put the youth and family at risk for future abuse or maltreatment. PSOP services are provided to Hennepin County families, focusing on families with children aged ten or younger, and also adolescents if needed, who have been reported to Child Protection, but screened out because the report does not meet Hennepin County’s threshold for investigation and community and self-referrals in which the family experiences two or more child maltreatment risk factors. Pillsbury United Communities is a unique nonprofit organization. With multiple locations in Minneapolis' inner city neighborhoods – including four neighborhood centers and a professional live theatre – Pillsbury United Communities is positioned to address the complicated issues and concerns faced by the 50,000 people who walk through our doors each year.
