West African Medical Missions Root 4 Growth. www.WestAfricanMedicalMissions.org Our techniques are progressive, our approach is simple, and the path is long and hard; but we remain.

Our Vision

To become the most effective organization cultivating local cures to the health disparities and inequalities afflicting West Africa. We aim to bring marginalized and underrepresented individuals access to the forces structuring how health is created in their communities. Furthermore, WAMM aims to exist as a catalyst in the cultivation of leaders to strengthen existing efforts and direc

tives set-forth by local Governments, NGOs, and private sector forces whose focus is improving the health, education, and social welfare of West Africa.community; please see volunteer locations for a more thorough description of each district. We have a remarkable number of projects for those interested in being part of a paradigm shift in alleviating global health disparities. Our unique approach focuses on civic engagement in a global context and the strengthening of WAMM Business Operations both in the United States and Sierra Leone. Volunteers from around the globe are partnered with each other to learn, build, and create a dialogue and bear witness to the health barriers existent in the global environment. We challenge all of our participants to view health and disease from a global context while taking in many other forms of knowledge and knowing. We strive to challenge the epistemologies of our current modernity stricken notions of health to uncover the root causes of inequality present today. ROOT.4.GROWTH !
