In working with Minnesota’s seniors, we have quickly learned about the tremendous value that Medicare Advantage brings to their lives. Medicare Advantage caps out-of-pocket costs, outperforms original Medicare on all clinical quality measures, and costs only $18 a month on average. For seniors working with less of a budget or living on a fixed income, Medicare Advantage is a saving grace for them and their wallets.



Medicare Advantage is truly invaluable to the lives of Minnesota’s seniors, and we are grateful to the efforts of Senator Amy Klobuchar and her colleagues for continuing to support this monumental program. Thank you, Senator Amy Klobuchar, for your work to protect Medicare Advantage!

Today I was able to finally track down this fast mover as vacations, scheduling conflicts and business travel prevented both of us from getting together until today.

It was an honor to present MAHU’s 2022 LeClair Award to Mike Anderson. The LeClair Award recognizes newer MAHU members who demonstrate strong abilities and service to the health insurance industry.

As the 2018 winner of this award and departing MAHU president, it was very special for me to spend a little time with Mike and personally deliver this. Congratulations, Mike! Well deserved, my friend!
