My pastoral ministry formally began 50 years ago this month with my admission to the Chicago Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. While my ministry will continue through Hope United CDC and Servant Leaders' Support, the pastoral part of our ministry closes on October 20, 2024 in our 11:00 am worship service at Wayman Ame Church . The journey with Mary has been amazing! We have served congregations in Southern Illinois, Chicago, Flint MI, Minneapolis, and Duluth. Through these appoinments,we have built relationships with many precious souls who, in turn, have helped us connect with untold numbers of people around the world. We thank you for every prayer offered for us, for every deed done in support of our assignments, and for every opportunity to serve you.
On September 14th at 5pm our Wayman family and friends are hosting a gala dinner event to commemorate and celebrate our pastoral work. The formal dinner and program will take place in the gymnasium at Best Academy. Enter Wayman at 1221 7th Ave. N., Minneapolis.
