Chi Omega was selected to reinstall its Pi Beta Chapter, previously open from 1921 to 1989. Founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas, Chi Omega is the largest women's fraternal organization in the world with over 310,000 initiates and 174 collegiate chapters. Throughout Chi Omega's long and proud history, the Fraternity has brought its members unequaled opportunities for personal growth and development.

Reece was the very first friend I made in Chi Omega, and I will always be so grateful for that. From the moment we met, we instantly clicked, and it didn’t take long for me to realize how special she is. I remember thinking how lucky I was to have found someone like her right away, and I just knew Reece was going to be such an important part of my life. She has the most genuine heart and such a warm, positive energy that makes everyone around you feel comfortable and loved. Reece is the kind of person who lights up a room and makes people feel seen, and that is something so rare and special. Reece always pushes me to be the best version of myself even when I don’t believe it. I am so thankful that Chi Omega brought us together because I honestly cannot imagine my life without her in it. I feel so lucky to call Reece my bestest friend, and I know our friendship is something I will cherish for the rest of my life!

Where to even begin! Emerson is the sweetest, kindest, funniest, most radiant person I’ve ever met. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I am that Chi O brought us together. She is always there for me when I need it the most, and she always knows how to make me smile. When I first met Emerson, we clicked instantly and I knew we would be great friends. Now, I am so lucky to call her my best friend. I’ll always cherish our wonderful memories in Chi O, from rooming together in the house, to choreographing the ballyhoo dance, and even family vacations together. I know that we will be friends for life, and have so many amazing times to come. Emerson, I LOVE YOU BB!

OUR CARNATION OF THE WEEK IS .roehl 🫂🪸🌟

“I felt I would be enacting a major crime against humanity if I didn’t recognize the beauty and greatness of CHARLOTTE. Charlotte is always a positive and ever-blooming light in Chi O. She is also the most naturally charismatic and magnetic person I know and has a specific and beautiful way of making everyone feel at ease. She is so incredibly funny, she makes me laugh like a kid again!! She is so loving and so so capable and inspires those around her to be that way too. In the mere months I have known her, I have grown to love her and become so proud of her—my love and admiration for her is forever linear. Loving Charlotte is as easy as breathing. She has made Chi Omega so much more full and couldn’t be more grateful to have her as my sister and twin.”

“I didn’t rush here at the U in the fall but I fell in love with Chi O because of how authentic and caring the older girls were to me. So when it came to transfer back home to the U I knew I had to still be a Chi O no matter what. Everyone has been so welcoming and loving to me. I never feel like I need to change who I am to be accepted by them. I have always wanted to be a part of something that makes me feel like I have a home and I can say with great confidence that Chi Omega does that for me. In the few months I’ve been here, I have made wonderful connections and memories that will last me a lifetime. I don’t think my life would be the same without the love and friendship I get from Chi O. I am so happy that I took that leap of faith and decided to put myself out there for rush because if I didn’t I would have been making a big mistake. I love all my sisters here at Chi O and I’m super excited to live in, in the fall and create more amazing memories and connections with everyone!! LICO💕💕”

OUR CARNATIONS OF THE WEEK ARE & 👯‍♀️🌸☀️

“Despite being in a different country, I have been in contact with these two sisters for the last few weeks, and they have provided so much comfort and love. Studying abroad allows for some Chi O FOMO, but knowing that my sisters are continually there for me, despite not having an event or living next door to them, makes me know that I have so much joy to come home to. It’s been really exciting seeing GP thrive in this new role, as I feel it was made for her ambitious, empathetic, and solution oriented personality. Seeing Olivia live in the room we lived in one year ago makes me think back to some of the best laughs and cries we had together. Certain things make me immediately think of my sisters; Lime scooters, Wicked merch, Trisha Paytas in London, Snapchat memories, craft stores, appetizers, dogs, museum exhibits, street art, book covers, and more. How lucky am I to be able to have such impactful sisters in my life, that despite being across the globe, I am reminded of every single day? These girls are my carnations of chi o, and I couldn’t be more thankful to have them as lifelong friends.”
