Thank you to everyone who joined us for this wonderful event! It was a great opportunity for two communities to come together and share culture, stories, history, and plenty of laughter.
Everyone worked hard making kleicha, and it was amazing to see people helping one another perfect the shapes, sizes, and fillings of each piece. The teamwork, conversations, and enthusiasm made the experience even more special.
Thank you again to everyone who attended, and a special thank you to for partnering with us to make this event possible. We had a fantastic time and look forward to many more events together in the future!

This program will be organized bazaar-style, recreating the atmosphere of Al-Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad. Attendees will have the opportunity to walk through the space and experience elements of traditional Iraqi culture.
Program Highlights:
Cultural display tables featuring Iraqi cultural items Children’s story presenting Al-Mutanabbi Street Iraqi tea and traditional snacks will be served
Photo booth with traditional Iraqi attire for photos-free.

The Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project stands in solidarity with our immigrant communities across Minnesota during this time of profound grief and concern. We mourn the tragic loss of Renee Good and Alex Jeffrey Pretti, whose deaths during federal immigration enforcement actions have deeply affected families, neighbors, and advocates throughout our state. Both incidents have catalyzed widespread public sorrow and calls for accountability as communities come together to honor their memories.

IARP remains committed to supporting all members of our diverse community, affirming the dignity and safety of immigrants, and working toward a more just and compassionate future for everyone in Minnesota, and the world.
