• Happy Indigenous People Day❤️🪶🧡

After centeries of continuous attempts of genocide, ethnic cleansing, erasing and communities filled with denial towards Native Amercans, WE ARE STILL HERE.

We cannot tell the story of America honestly without acknowledging some of the earliest crimes that were committed against Indigenous people on this continent: murder, r**e, enslavement, forced labor, and the seizure of Native land. “Kill the Indian, save the man”.

Our history does not end with what was done to us. Indigenous nations survived. Our languages survived. Our ceremonies survived. Our families survived. Our identity survived. They tried to take the land, silence our people, and wipe out our culture—and we are STILL HERE.

And as long as we remember, speak, teach, and pass our traditions to our babies, may the truth never be erased.
