Recovery Month may be ending, but the work doesn’t.

Keep recovery visible. Use respectful language. Share resources. Check in on people. Encourage someone to ask for help when they need it.

The small things we do every day help create communities where people feel supported, respected, and able to keep moving forward.

Recovery deserves support all year long. đź’ś

Recovery does not have to look perfect to be real.

Progress can be making the call. Keeping an appointment. Reconnecting with someone. Asking for help sooner than you did last time. Trying again after a hard week.

We can make recovery harder when we only recognize the biggest milestones.

Small steps count too.

We’re set up and ready for the Walk for Recovery.

Today is about community, connection, and making recovery visible.

If you’re here, come find the MnPRA table, say hi, and spend some time with us. We’re looking forward to a really good day alongside so many people who care about recovery and the people behind it.

Support does not always mean having the answer.

Sometimes it looks like listening without trying to fix it. Asking what someone actually needs. Helping make a connection. Offering a ride. Checking in again tomorrow. Or simply staying present when things are hard.

The right support can look different from person to person. What matters is making sure people do not have to navigate recovery alone.

Recovery doesn’t follow one path, and what works for someone today may not be what they need a year from now.

Peer support, treatment, medication, family, community, faith, wellness, or a combination of supports can all play a role. There is room for different approaches, different timelines, and different definitions of progress.

What matters is that people have access to support that meets them where they are and helps them keep moving forward.

September is Recovery Month, but recovery itself is happening every day.

This month is a chance to celebrate the people doing the work, recognize the peers and families walking alongside them, and keep building communities where people can find connection and support without judgment.

There is no single way recovery has to look. What matters is that people have the opportunity, resources, and support to keep moving forward.

Here’s to making recovery visible all month long, and long after September ends.

The campaign brings MARCO’s mission to life: to educate, advocate, and mobilize resources to grow Minnesota’s community-based recovery movement.
