State Grange of Minnesota

State Grange of Minnesota Minnesota celebrates our local Granges located in Sherburne, Aitkin, Crow Wing, and Olmsted counties.

First among Granges, Minnesota Grangers believe we can change the world for the better through advocacy, education, and community service and social activities. Our mission of vibrant communities, sustainable agriculture, and a healthy state for every Minnesotan proves that the Grange is just as relevant today as we were nearly 150 years ago!

Talk is cheap. It’s easy to focus on what we're against, but real change happens when we show what we are for—and provide a path for exactly how to do it.

That’s why we are moving beyond just pointing out the structural problems with nitrogen over-application. We are focusing on actionable solutions that support our farmers, protect our drinking water, and build resilient soil health.

Our new Rethink N initiative is all about providing trusted guidance, shifting systemic incentives, and proving that farms can be both profitable and environmentally sustainable. We know the best paths forward come from the people working the land every day, and we're ready to build a stronger, farmer-led movement.

Let’s move past the talk and get to work. Take our nitrogen survey or sign up for updates to help us shape the future of farming. Link in comments.
