MISSION - To provide a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for Military Veterans, Active-Duty personnel, and all First Responders through the game of hockey. Minnesota Sentinels Hockey is dedicated to serving military veterans, active-duty members, National Guard, Reservists, and all First Responders. Our mission is centered on fostering camaraderie, promoting team building, and cultivating

a sense of belonging to a community greater than oneself. Join us and become a part of a military-based hockey team in the State of Hockey. We extend our invitation to all service members and veterans who have honorably served or are currently serving, including our disabled veterans. There is no requirement for prior hockey experience; all that's needed is a passion for the game and a willingness to join a special group of individuals. Our aim is to provide a safe space for physical activity and to facilitate meaningful connections among peers.

OFFICIALLY WELCOME TO THE SENTINEL FAMILY!

Beauts, it’s time to roll out the welcome mat and officially introduce our newest Allies, Supporters & Celebrated Members of the Minnesota Sentinels!

Since the NHL and fanatics decided to tease everyone with this whole “Hometown Remix” jersey idea, we here at Sentinel 4 Headquarters decided to stop asking questions and just give the people what they really want.

So… behold.

The Minnesota Sentinels Hometown Remix Jersey.

Is it official? Absolutely not.

Will it ever be official? Honestly… probably not.

Did anyone ask us to do this? Also no.

Did that stop us? Absolutely not.

We figured if the NHL gets to remix jerseys, then the Sentinels can throw some Minnesota flavor into the mix too. A little hometown pride, a little hockey, a little questionable decision-making, and just enough Sentinel 4 logic to make this seem like a completely reasonable idea.

Enjoy it, because this is probably as close as you’re ever going to get to seeing this thing on the ice.

THE ANNUAL Minnesota SENTINELS HONOR & REMEMBER GAME IS COMING!
September 11th. Centennial Sports Arena. Circle Pines.
And folks… WE’VE GOT A HOCKEY GAME.

The MINNESOTA SENTINELS are strapping on the gear and heading into battle against the TCR MOOSE in what promises to be an absolutely unnecessary amount of hockey played with an absolutely necessary amount of heart.
“You’ve got two teams! You’ve got sticks! You’ve got pucks! You’ve got questionable decision-making! AND YOU’VE GOT A REASON TO SHOW UP!”

But this night is about much more than hockey.

The Honor & Remember Game is our annual opportunity to stop, reflect, and remember the nearly 3,000 people who never made it home on September 11, 2001, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless men and women who sacrificed in the years that followed.

This year, we're also proud to welcome our special guests from Roger Up, an incredible nonprofit doing important work supporting veterans and first responders.
And because apparently we haven't learned our lesson about giving people opportunities to spend money…

LIMITED MINNESOTA SENTINELS MERCH WILL BE AVAILABLE!

That's right. You can come remember the fallen, support an important cause, watch some hockey, and potentially leave wearing something that tells everyone, “Yes, I voluntarily came to watch these idiots play.”

After serious back-and-forth negotiations, questionable back-alley handshakes, several highly classified conversations, and yet another failed attempt to move PowerSerge for the betterment of the organization…
We can finally make it official.

THE MINNESOTA SENTINELS HAVE CHOSEN .cheese.hockey AS THE OFFICIAL HOCKEY WAX OF THE SENTINELS!

That’s right. The deal is done. The paperwork is signed. The wax is secured. The sticks are about to get dangerously cheesy.

We’re thrilled to welcome Top Cheese Hockey into the Sentinels family and couldn’t be happier to team up with a company that shares our passion for hockey, community, and apparently making sure our sticks are properly sauced.
What started as a conversation turned into something we’re genuinely excited about, and we’re looking forward to seeing where this partnership goes.

Matt “Hose Dragger” Meehan!

Matt has somehow managed to combine running into burning buildings with running into opposing goalies, all while working his way into the TOP 5 ALL-TIME GOAL SCORERS in Minnesota Sentinels history.

Honestly, we're not sure what's more impressive:�His commitment to the fire service
His ability to find the back of the net
Or his ability to make questionable decisions and still somehow get invited back.

But today we celebrate the man, the myth, the hose-dragging legend.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A SENTINEL SOCIAL MEDIA MAVERICK!

As we head into Year 5, the Minnesota Sentinels are looking to expand our social media game and we’re looking for someone who knows their way around a camera, video editing, and all those fancy things the kids are doing on the internet.
VOLUNTEER VIDEOGRAPHER / CONTENT CREATOR

We’re looking for someone to help capture the Sentinels on and off the ice and turn those moments into fun, entertaining content.

Think:
Game-day videos
Reels & short-form videos
TikTok content, Locker room shenanigans, Player interviews, Hype videos, Behind-the-scenes content, Team stories & personalities

You don’t need to be a professional or have expensive equipment. We’re looking for someone creative, social-media savvy, and willing to experiment.
THE PAY: $0.00
Yep, this is 100% volunteer.

BUT… if you want to build your portfolio, gain real-world experience, sharpen your skills, or just be part of a pretty damn fun hockey organization, we’d love to talk.
And if you do great work with us, we’ll provide a WORLD-CLASS LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION to help you take that next step.
We’re not looking for perfection.
We’re looking for someone willing to shoot their shot.
