Grow to Grow employs teenagers to design and create plant arrangements for garden containers and window boxes in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.

That’s a wrap on 2025 for Grow to Grow! Since opening our doors in 2021, Grow to Grow teens have earned nearly $20,000—each dollar representing a moment of growth, pride, and possibility.

This year, ten incredible teens poured their hearts into creating beautiful custom plant arrangements while strengthening essential skills like communication, time management, decision-making, and critical thinking.

Through our Give to the Max drive, generous supporters contributed more than $1,675—which was doubled through matching funds to $3,350—ensuring we can continue employing amazing teens who step into real responsibility, discover their strengths, and build the confidence that comes from meaningful work, all while earning competitive wages.

We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers, dedicated mentors, and generous donors. The success of our remarkable teens is possible because of people like you. Thank you for allowing them to grow!

As Give to the Max Day approaches, we have exciting news! A generous donor is matching all gifts to Grow to Grow — up to $5,000 now through December 1.

Your support goes directly to our teens, who are gaining real-world skills by running their own design work: communicating with customers, creating budgets and schedules, and creating custom plant arrangements seen across the metro. They earn well above minimum wage and build confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills.

Since 2021, we've employed 18 teens from nine local schools, paying nearly $20,000 in meaningful wages — but the true impact is the mentorship, pride, and ownership they carry long after the season ends. Help these amazing teens grow.

Season 4 has begun! Our spring plantings start with our first customers: MOMS! Our Grow to Grow employees designed and planted pots to give their guardians for Mother’s Day. Here we go! These teens are delightful, creative, and amazing!

That’s a wrap! Grow to Grow teens created over 50 custom designs for our 2023 winter season. With their volunteer mentors, the teens interviewed customers, developed schedules and budgets, and created amazing winter pots according to customer specifications. Super proud of them and grateful to our customers who support our mission. Happy holidays to all!
