Hi Neighbors, summer camp registration is open for ages 8–13.

Minneapolis Parks is offering free and low-cost neighborhood day camps running Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 AM to 5 PM. Camp themes rotate weekly across more than 20 Minneapolis locations and include:

Kayak Discovery – paddle daily and learn water safety

H2Olympics – water relays, slip-and-slides, and bucket challenges

Farm-to-Table Camp – garden, fish, and cook fresh snacks

Theater Camp – sing, dance, build sets, and perform for family

Cycling Explorers – pedal to parks and neighborhood destinations

Neurodivergent Nature Camp – sensory-integrated nature play for ages 6–11 (10 AM–2 PM)

Additional camps include Juniors (ages 5–7), archery, sailing, and girls sports.

9:30 AM: Tickets, coffee, and donuts
10:00-11:00 AM: Free Cooking Class
