In 2019, 40.6 million people in the US were non-Hispanic black alone, which represents 12.8% of the total population and the 2nd largest minority population in the US.

In 2019, 55.9% of non-Hispanic blacks in comparison to 74.7% of non-Hispanic whites used private health insurance, 43.5% relied on Medicaid or public insurance, and 10.1% were uninsured. There is a clear gap between race and health treatment/possibilities.

ABOUT US

Our mission is to address the historic and persistent disparity of healthcare for minority men, specifically as it relates to the early detection and treatment options for hypertension and high blood pressure, which disproportionally affects minority men.

Our approach is to work to decrease health disparities by improving the historically strained relationship with minority men and doctors by ensuring that cultural competence is addressed among the medical professionals we partner with.

Our plan is to close the communication and healthcare disparity gap via the roll-out of our primary care minority primary care physician referral program, creation of electronic health records and in-shop blood pressure testing/monitoring program, We also have a data subscription program to provide needed micro target demographic data to inform and improve treatment options for health issues common to minority men.
