Back to school should mean new backpacks, fresh notebooks, and excitement for the year ahead. 📚✏️

But for some students, going back to school also means limited access to basic necessities including menstrual products.

When period products aren’t readily available, students may miss class, struggle to focus, or even stay home from school altogether. No student should have to choose between managing their period and getting an education.

As we head into a new school year, help us make sure students have access to the menstrual products they need to show up, participate, and thrive. ❤️

Together, we can help keep periods from becoming a barrier to education.

Period poverty is real, and having access to period products is an essential need-- not a luxury. Their generosity helps us support members of our community who may otherwise have to choose between period products and other basic necessities.

On September 18, 2026, Period Kits MN will be in Duluth as we continue our mission to reach all four corners of Minnesota and ensure menstrual products are accessible to every community.

For many people in our community, access to menstrual products isn’t guaranteed. Something as simple as a package of pads or tampons can mean attending school, going to work, participating in activities, and maintaining dignity.
