🏆 Champions Crowned! | 2nd Annual Al Furaat Soccer Tournament ⚽

Our 2nd Annual Al Furaat Soccer Tournament has officially concluded with an exciting 2–1 final! 🏆⚽

We sincerely appreciate all of our students who participated, competed with great effort, and demonstrated teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

A big thank you to all of our coaches, teachers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the tournament possible.

Special appreciation to M. Ali Yusuf, Sh. Huseen, and Qari Musab M***a for their leadership, time, and support.

MORE THAN A DUGSI | DEVELOPING THE WHOLE STUDENT

At Al Furaat Institute, we believe Islamic education goes beyond what happens inside the classroom.

Our 2nd Annual Soccer Tournament is one example of our holistic approach to developing Muslim youth. Alongside Qur’an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies, we create opportunities for students to develop character, confidence, teamwork, leadership, discipline, and strong relationships with one another.

Whether students are learning in the classroom, participating in sports, exploring the outdoors, or engaging in community activities, our goal remains the same: to nurture their spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social growth while keeping Islamic values at the center.

Summer Explorer Camp Is Underway!

We’re excited to kick off our Summer Explorer Camp in partnership with Three Rivers Park District!

This week, 15 Al Furaat Institute students in grades 6–8 are participating in four days of outdoor learning, recreation, and adventure at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park. 🌲🏹🎣

A special thank you to Three Rivers Park District for this wonderful partnership and for helping us provide meaningful experiences for our youth beyond the classroom.

We look forward to a great week of exploring, learning, and making memories!

A Historic Career Fair for Dugsi Students

Alhamdulillah, the first-ever Dugsi Career Fair, organized by Al-Furaat Institute, was a tremendous success.

This event was created specifically for Dugsi students to connect with accomplished Somali professionals, explore a wide range of career paths, ask questions, receive mentorship, and be inspired to pursue excellence while remaining grounded in their Islamic values.

We are incredibly grateful to the Somali professionals who generously shared their knowledge and experiences, our dedicated organizing team, volunteers, students, parents, and supporters who made this historic day possible.

A special appreciation goes to Hidayah Institute and Sunnah Center for Quranic Science for bringing groups of their students to participate. We are honored to have partnered in investing in the future of our youth.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Somali TV MN for covering this landmark event and helping showcase the importance of empowering the next generation.

May Allah ﷻ accept everyone’s efforts, bless our youth with beneficial knowledge and righteous careers, and make this the first of many successful Dugsi Career Fairs.
